Salam Alaykum, May Allah’s mercy be upon Prof Muhammad Al’Mahdi. I met him I was five years old, I am now 33. I remember him rowing a boat through some mangroves in a river in Australia and he was kind and respectful to my sister and I. He wore the only octagonal glasses I ever saw. I liked him a lot and I liked this place. I never saw him again. When I was 24, I was lost and so I went to the river and I stayed there for three and a half years in that very quiet place. He never knew that I followed him there. It was a very spiritual place for me. Eventually, I joined the Western chaos again but I couldn’t understand it. Then I discovered Islam and became a muslim Al Hamdu lillah. I love Islam and I will always love Islam. Sometimes as a Muslima in the west I feel lonely and I want to go some where that there are Muslims. Three days ago my sister phoned me, and said, “do you remember that man from the river? He is a Muslim now and this is his web site and this is his new name.” I was so excited because I knew that he knows where I came from before I was muslim and he knows about the river and he knows about me because I am a muslimsand he is a muslim too now. I will go to him insha Allah in Malaysia and meet him again. The next morning, I went to internet cafe and saw the websight and loved it so much and I was so happy that he was a Muslim. I tried to contact him but it was too late. I am very sorry about that but I ask Allah to take him to Jannah and for you who are his real freinds and family and community I ask Allah to bless you and help you to remember that you are his calipha . I am greatful to have read the site and I will try to remember always that i am Allah’s calipha too! I would be very greatful if anyone replied to this and shared any imformation about him. Salam alaykum, wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh,, khadijeh.

His article on boy-girl relationships in Islam is the most accurate and well thought-out, honest and best piece of advice on the matter I have ever heard. May Allah swt bless him with Jannatul Firdaus without punishment even if just for that one article. Ameen.
